Hair and nail salons that remove unwanted hair might refer to whatever process as "uncomfortable," but pain is a purely personal thing and what may be fine for your pain tolerance, could blow someone else's top off! Here are some handy hair removal tips that you can try in the comfort of your own home and see how they work out for you. Successful hair removal will involve some fashion of pain, but this has to be expected. Then the cloth is ripped off and it takes the hairs with it. * Plucking - manually take tweezers to each hair, and pluck. * Shaving - low amount of pain, use shaving cream or lotion and a sharp blade. * Tweezing - same as plucking. * Rotary Tweezers - electric mode of plucking hairs out. * Depilatories - no pain, hair is disintegrated by product and if you find a good product, it will go beneath the surface to the root. * Electrolysis - destroying the hair follicle using electricity, usually in a salon and performed by a trained technician.

If you are extremely sensitive to pain, try taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen before you start. There are a few natural herbs, like White Willow Bark or Cayenne which will also reduce the pain. Also a soak in salt water before and after will help prepare the skin. Some people have found that applying an ice-pack to the area before removing any hair to help reduce the pain. It is just a matter of trying each of these, until you find a method that works for you and your situation.
